** Service Opportunity - July 3 **
Every year the Riverside National Cemetery has the Concert for Heroes to honor the men and women who served in the armed services for our country.
The Boy Scouts have been helping each year with directing traffic, parking, passing out programs, and assisting the elderly, but this year we are a little short staffed.
The service starts at 3pm and runs to around 10PM. The actual concert starts at 7:30PM and is located at the amphitheater by the lake.
The concert is for the entire family, and you can bring a picnic to enjoy before the music begins. There are also fireworks to end the program.
This is great public exposure for Scouting
You will need to be in your class A looking your best! Also bring a flashlight to help for after the concert, lighting the way back to the cars.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
